Special Event April 2

Big news for Wednesday Meditators.

We will have both a Field Trip and a Mindfulness Eating Meditation on Wednesday, April 2.

  • We will meet at our regular location, and as a group we will walk to the Shir Hadash Memorial Garden.  Hiking boots unnecessary.
  • Thanks to a magical intervention known only to Nadine, there will be no gardeners on site.  We should have a peaceful and quiet time.
  • Bring something delicious for yourself, such as a handful of nuts or raisins, or a tangerine.

In addition to your food, you might want to bring
  • a reusable bottle of water
  • a yoga mat
  • a hat
  • sunscreen

We will say HaEtz, the prayer for eating fruit from the tree.
Before eating fruit – HaEtz[edit]
6ברוך אתה ה' א‑לוהינו, מלך העולם, בורא פרי העץ.‏

Transliteration: Barukh ata Adonai Eloheinu, Melekh ha'olam, bo're p'ri ha'etz.

Translation: "Blessed are You, LORD our God, King of the universe, Who creates the fruit of the tree."
Call me with any questions.
