Big news for Wednesday Meditators.
We will have both a Field Trip and a Mindfulness Eating Meditation on Wednesday, April 2.
- We will meet at our regular location, and as a group we will walk to the Shir Hadash Memorial Garden. Hiking boots unnecessary.
- Thanks to a magical intervention known only to Nadine, there will be no gardeners on site. We should have a peaceful and quiet time.
- Bring something delicious for yourself, such as a handful of nuts or raisins, or a tangerine.
In addition to your food, you might want to bring
- a reusable bottle of water
- a yoga mat
- a hat
- sunscreen
We will say HaEtz, the prayer for eating fruit from the tree.
Before eating fruit – HaEtz[edit]
Transliteration: Barukh ata Adonai Eloheinu, Melekh ha'olam, bo're p'ri ha'etz.
Translation: "Blessed are You, LORD our God, King of the universe, Who creates the fruit of the tree."
Call me with any questions.
